Acrobatics-focused training that combines flexibility, conditioning, and tumbling skills — progressing from basic rolls to advanced sequences.
Mini Acro: Introduction to acrobatics. Students will be able to demonstrate and perform basic acrobatic skills including: Cartwheel, ¾ handstand, forward roll, backward roll, front splits, middle splits, backbend, front limber and more.
Acro I: Acro combines flexibility, conditioning, and strength while performing tricks. Students will be able to demonstrate and perform acrobatics skills including: cartwheel, handstand, forward roll to stand up, backwards roll to stand up, back kickover, front limber to stand, straight jump, tuck jump, straddle jump, round off, back walkover, front walkover, handstand roll, and more.
Acro II: In this class students will practice intermediate acrobatics tricks. They will also be introduced to tumbling. Flexibility and strength are required for the skills performed at this level. They will learn how to put together one trick with the other and focus on the fluidity of the movements and tricks.
